A Chicago native, Garrah Carter-Mason has called Nashville home for the past 10 years. At a young age, she knew her passion was to be able to help others on a grand scale, which led her to her love for the law. Garrah received both her Bachelor’s Degree and Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University. During he undergraduate career, she studied abroad in Lima, Peru and London, England where she broadened her cultural perspectives and gained more appreciation for own ethnic background and ties. While in law school, Garrah interned for the Honorable Virginia Kendall, U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Illinois, which reinforced her passion to help those who need it most.
Garrah is currently a corporate litigation attorney at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, where she represents clients in complex business litigation, government investigations, and products liability cases. While she practices law full-time, Garrah also has a passion for entrepreneurship that she gained later in life. This passion was expanded upon after receiving a scholarship to Corner to Corner’s Academy. Garrah has loved cooking since she was a child, but C2C helped her turn childhood memories into a profitable business. Thanks to C2C Garrah has sold over 500 plant-based cookbooks to help minorities access healthier eating options. She hopes to continue to reach new heights in both the law and business sectors as her career and life continues to expand and evolve.
