About Hope Bakes
Every week, we meet kids in the kitchen with a new recipe that encourages math, reading, and culinary skills. Hope Bakes gives kids the opportunity to be bold and try new things, like molasses and fresh cranberries.
It also further develops social and life skills, such as working as a team and following directions. It’s a safe environment for kids to learn from their mistakes, like dropping eggs on the floor!
And it’s an opportunity to encourage them to flex their creative muscles. Who else would decide to put Takis on top of brownies?! It’s this freedom to test new ideas that makes the kitchen such a sweet place to be. The more time kids spend in the kitchen, the more confident they are in their ability to cook, lead, and create. And the more excited they become to share their creations with others. We’d love to share with you, too!
