At the vibrant crossroads of dreams and community, we're shining a light on the power of neighbors joining together for positive change. Historically, not all Nashvillians have had the same access to economic opportunity. Our beloved city is in the bottom 5% when it comes to economic mobility, which means if you’re born poor here, you’ll stay poor without key intervention…but Corner to Corner believes that can change!
Our nonprofit is a part of many neighbors' stories.
Like Mason in Script to Screen, whose mom came up to our program director to tell us how shy he normally is around others. But after expanding his love of literacy and creativity in Script to Screen, he gained the confidence to be a host for our Red Carpet Premiere, standing proudly up on stage in front of his peers, friends, and family!
Like Jaquishia, a Fall 2023 graduate of The Academy and our first-place Compassionate Pitch Winner. In the few days since winning the pitch contest, Jaquishia says she’s already had so many doors opened up for her and her business. “I asked God to give me this undeniable experience, and I went through this course, and I promise you, ever since, the doors have just been opening, and I'm just like, ‘Okay, God, I hear you loud and clear!’”
