Thomas has over fifteen years experience in finance and executive management, and well over ten years managing and coaching successful teams. Additionally, he has experience with managing bank financial centers with well over $30 million in deposits and $40 million in revenue. In a previous role as Director of Finance & Operations, and his current role as Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for the operational strategy of the organization. Under his operational leadership, his team successfully launched and grew five new high-performing charter schools in Nashville. In his current role as COO at Valor Collegiate Academies, Thomas oversee the operations of three school campuses, and four facilities that support 1900 students and over 250 faculty members. As one of the leaders in charter operations, he has worked to bring local charter school leaders together to collaborate on financial and operational challenges. Thomas enjoys volunteering throughout the community. This work ranges from volunteer work at the United Way to volunteering time at the local school district.
