Behind The Scenes of Episode 5!

The CornerStone

In most election years we hear alot about the economy.

Well – Here is my non academic understanding of the economy in a nutshell: It’s more than just money, okay? It’s the way resources are distributed – and resources can be money, land, diamonds, time… assets!

The Economy is the system where people, businesses, and governments make decisions about distributing and using the resources available to us.

Shouldn’t this be good for all of us?

Of course, it SHOULD (and COULD)… but it’s not.

The Brookings Institution found that not only does the underrepresentation of Black businesses hurt black communities  and further racial inequality but it costs the economy millions of dollars in jobs and billions of dollars in unrealized revenues.

And to add insult to injury, this is a solvable problem if we work together. Yes in OUR lifetime and in THIS economy.

How? With Commerce as the key to vibrant communities!! It is a path for personal growth, business development and success.
