Mary Elizabeth has an aptitude for learning, which also makes her a great teacher. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Drury University in Missouri. Then she spent her first post-grad year serving with AmeriCorps in Minnesota, where she recognized that in order to best serve children and their families, she needed more knowledge. She arrived in Nashville in 2013 to pursue a Master’s degree in Child Studies and volunteered with Corner to Corner before accepting a full-time position. Now, she offers remote support as our Grant Specialist while hiking with her cat in Vermont! She loves hiking, baking, and drinking a nice cup of coffee.
